Sustainable logistics is an integral part of our corporate philosophy
We are committed to a sustainable future. That is why we have established a comprehensive sustainability strategy within the Rieck Logistics Group. It permeates every aspect of our company.
We are constantly updating our truck fleet. It consists of vehicles that meet the modern Euro 6 standard. In addition, the vehicles are equipped with high-cube swap bodies. These allow for greater cargo volume per trip. Our goal is to help make trips more efficient and, in the long term, reduce emissions.
All new long-distance vehicles are also equipped with solar panels. These help power the vehicles. Our goal is to reduce greenhouse gas intensity per euro of revenue over the long term and to decrease our use of fossil fuels.
With a Focus on Sustainability
Through intelligent route planning, high vehicle utilization at our Großbeeren location, and the elimination of empty runs, we are continuously reducing fuel consumption. Our company’s commitment to becoming even more sustainable in the future is also reflected in our SAQ 5.0 certification, which we achieved with a rating of B 85—above the industry average—in the “Road Freight Transport” category. This rating confirms that we meet the automotive industry’s demanding sustainability standards very well.

Our Contribution to a Sustainable Supply Chain
More and more companies are facing increasing environmental and sustainability requirements. As a service provider, the Rieck Logistics Group supports you in pursuing your own sustainability goals. By continuously improving our transportation processes, we aim to provide transparent support for your sustainability initiatives.
We are also continuously refining our own standards. In addition to our existing certifications, we are working toward obtaining additional ISO certifications (50001, 14001, 45001) in order to gradually improve our processes and our environmental management.
